A historic moment:
Four Seasons I floats out to sea

Four Seasons Yachts celebrates the inaugural float out of Four Seasons I, a historic milestone signifying the completion of the exterior design of the yacht, bringing the vessel one step closer to inviting guests on board for an unparalleled experience. The ceremony follows two events late last year marking the steel cutting and Keel Laying landmarks in the ship building journey – commemorating a major step in the vessel’s construction and overall progress, while building excitement and pride to set off on the ship’s maiden voyage in one year. The ceremony, attended by shipyard workers, engineers, and leaders, embodies the cultural significance of the ship to the community and maritime industry and marks years of inspired work by hundreds of employees to launch Four Seasons Yachts. The float-out signals that Four Seasons I is prepared for its future of nautical service as a luxury vessel designed through innovation and destined to change the yachting landscape.

Taking place in picturesque Ancona, Italy at the Fincantieri shipyard, Gilberto Tobaldi, the Fincantieri Shipyard Director, addressed the crowd before the Canadian, United States and Italian National anthems rang out over the sea. Nadim Ashi, owner and executive chair of MHCH and founder and CEO of Fort Partners, together with Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and Managing Director of Fincantieri, delivered heartfelt speeches thanking the skilled workers and craftspeople.

“This wonderful, milestone event is only possible because of the hard work, commitment, and expert craftsmanship of all those involved in the creation of Four Seasons I,” says Mr. Ashi. “I know I speak for everyone in attendance today when I say it is an honour to be joined by the many men and women whose dedication and expertise has allowed us to witness this monumental moment. And I cannot think of a better way to start our official one-year countdown to the January 2026 debut of this extraordinary vessel, which will redefine luxury at sea in every way imaginable.”

Each of the signature suites aboard Four Seasons I will offer floor-to-ceiling ocean views, walk-in-closets, expansive private terrace decks with splash pools, loungers, and space to entertain. “It's been very important for all the spaces to have this beautiful, almost zen calmness to it, the logic and the intuitive feel to it,” Fredrik Johansson, partner, and executive director of Tillberg Design of Sweden, explains of the ship’s upcoming interior styling. Each suite provides 50% more living space per guest and the highest space ratio in the industry, adding to that overall opulent feel, in addition to a 66-foot pool that will be built for a lounge-experience that only the Four Seasons can provide.

Looking ahead, the coming year promises an exciting journey of discovery, with more reveals coming to unveil the essence of Four Seasons I inaugural voyage in January 2026. This marks the beginning of an extraordinary chapter for Four Seasons Yachts, one that finds itself closer than ever to welcoming guests onboard and reimagining luxury at sea.
